A delicious and nutritious drink that combines the health benefits of coffee and turmeric, perfect for a morning boost or an afternoon pick-me-up. Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 2 cups milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1 tablespoon ground turmeric (or grated fresh turmeric)
- 1-2 tablespoons honey (or sweetener to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger (optional)
- 1-2 cups strong coffee
- A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)
Instructions:
1. Heat the milk in a small saucepan, but do not bring it to a boil.
2. Add the ground turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper to the warming milk. Stir well.
3. Add the honey and stir until it is completely dissolved.
4. Brew strong coffee separately and pour it into the turmeric milk mixture.
5. Mix well and serve warm.
