Ingredients:
- 8 slices of whole grain bread - 200 g ham
- 150 g cheese (e.g., Emmental or Cheddar)
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tomato
- Lettuce (e.g., romaine or iceberg)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the slices of bread. 2. Place ham and cheese on four of the bread slices.
3. Slice the tomato and place it on top of the ham and cheese.
4. Add lettuce and season with salt and pepper.
5. Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
6. Cut the sandwiches into quarters and serve.
