Preparation Time: 4-6 hours
Serving Size: 8-10

Ingredients:

- 1.5-2 kg Christmas ham
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Mustard
- Brown sugar
- Water
- Roasting pan
- Aluminum foil

Instructions:

1. Take the ham out of the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about an hour before cooking.
2. Rub a generous amount of salt and black pepper all over the surface of the ham.
3. Place the ham in the roasting pan, adding some water to the bottom to prevent it from drying out.
4. Roast the ham at 125°C (257°F) for approximately 4-6 hours, depending on the size of the ham. Use a meat thermometer until the internal temperature reaches 75-80°C (167-176°F).
5. When the ham is nearly cooked, mix the mustard and brown sugar together and spread the mixture over the top of the ham.
6. Increase the temperature to 200°C (392°F) and roast the ham for an additional 15-20 minutes until the surface is beautifully golden brown.
7. Remove the ham from the oven and cover it with aluminum foil. Allow it to rest for about 30 minutes before slicing.
