This Christmas ham is the perfect addition to your festive table. Carefully roasted, it ensures juiciness and delicious flavor. Preparation Time: 3-4 hours
Serving Size: 8-10 people
Ingredients:
- 1.5-2 kg Christmas ham
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 100 ml water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
- 2-3 bay leaves
Instructions:
1. Remove the ham from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about one hour before cooking.
2. Prepare the marinade by mixing together mustard, honey, salt, and black pepper.
3. Brush the ham with the marinade, ensuring it's evenly coated.
4. Place the ham in a roasting pan and add water and bay leaves. Sprinkle whole cloves and peppercorns on top of the ham.
5. Cover the pan with aluminum foil and roast the ham in the oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 2-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
6. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest under foil for about 20-30 minutes before slicing.
