Ingredients:
- 2 kg Christmas ham - 2 dl honey
- 2 dl mustard
- 1 dl soy sauce
- 3-4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp rosemary (fresh or dried)
- 3-4 bay leaves
- 1 dl water
- Garnish: fresh herbs and Christmas flowers
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). 2. Remove any skin and excess fat from the ham.
3. In a bowl, mix together honey, mustard, soy sauce, minced garlic, black pepper, and rosemary.
4. Spread the mixture evenly over the surface of the ham.
5. Place the ham in a roasting pan and add the bay leaves and water to the pan.
6. Cover the ham with foil and bake in the oven for about 2.5 hours.
7. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes to allow the ham to develop a beautiful golden-brown crust.
8. Let the ham rest before slicing.
9. Serve garnished with fresh herbs and Christmas flowers.
