These juicy meatballs are the perfect addition to dinner or a weekend treat. Preparation time: 30 minutes. Serves: 4. Ingredients:
- 500 g ground beef (or pork)
- 1 dl breadcrumbs
- 1 dl milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let it sit for about 5 minutes to absorb.
2. Add ground meat, chopped onion, crushed garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, oregano, and parsley to the mixture. Mix until well combined.
3. Shape the mixture into meatballs about the size of golf balls.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs for about 8-10 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.
5. Serve the meatballs with mashed potatoes or pasta.
