A delicious and flavorful ground beef casserole that's easy to prepare, perfect for weeknight dinners or entertaining guests.

Serving Size: 4-6 people
Ingredients:
- 750-800 g lean ground beef
- A splash of oil or fat for browning the beef
- 2 packets (total 40 g) American dip seasoning mix
- 4 dl mashed potatoes (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 dl shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 dl water
Instructions:
1. Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet. Add the ground beef and brown it over medium heat until fully cooked and golden brown.
2. Stir in the American dip seasoning mix and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
4. Evenly spread the mashed potatoes over the beef layer.
5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the mashed potatoes.
6. Pour 1 dl of water around the edges of the dish to keep the casserole moist.
7. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and golden.
8. Let it cool for a moment before serving.
