Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers (red or yellow)- 300 g ground meat (beef or chicken)
- 1 cup rice
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 400 g crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., mozzarella or cheddar)
Instructions:
1. Cook the rice according to package instructions and set aside.2. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.
3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil. Add the onion and garlic, sautéing until soft.
4. Add the ground meat to the skillet and brown it. Season with salt, black pepper, paprika powder, and oregano.
5. Stir in the cooked rice and crushed tomatoes into the meat mixture. Mix well and let simmer for a few minutes.
6. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Fill the peppers with the meat mixture.
7. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
