This delicious chicken pasta is quick and easy to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., penne or fusilli)
- 400 g chicken breast fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 200 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 100 ml cream
- 100 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a little cooking water.
2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and season with salt and pepper.
3. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
4. Add the chicken strips to the pan and cook until they are fully cooked.
5. Add the bell pepper and cherry tomatoes to the pan. Cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes soften.
6. Stir in the cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for a few minutes. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved cooking water as needed.
7. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or pepper if needed.
8. Serve the pasta on plates and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
