Isoäidin Carrot Buns

A delightful recipe for soft and flavorful carrot buns perfect for any meal. Preparation Time: 2 hours (including rising time)
Serving Size: 12 buns
Ingredients:
- A pinch of sugar
- About 4 dl of yeast bread flour
- 4 dl of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of herb salt or mixed herbs
- 50 g of fresh yeast
- 1 tbsp of sesame seeds
- ½ dl of grated carrot
- 5 dl of whole milk
- 3 dl of four-grain flakes
- 1 tsp of salt
- 50 g of melted butter
Instructions:
1. Warm the milk until it's lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.
2. Add salt, sugar, melted butter, sesame seeds, and grated carrot to the mixture.
3. Stir in the four-grain flakes and yeast bread flour.
4. Gradually add the all-purpose flour and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes elastic.
5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
6. Knead the dough again and shape it into buns.
7. Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C (437°F) for about 12-15 minutes until the buns are golden brown.
9. Allow to cool on a rack before serving.
