A classic creamy potato salad that's perfect for gatherings. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 dl buttermilk
- 1 dl mayonnaise
- 1 red onion
- 3-4 pickles
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh dill (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Boil the potatoes with their skins in salted water until tender. Let them cool, then peel.
2. Cut the cooled potatoes into cubes and place them in a large bowl.
3. Finely chop the red onion and pickles, and add them to the potatoes.
4. Prepare the dressing by mixing buttermilk, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
5. Pour the dressing over the potatoes and vegetables, and gently mix to avoid breaking the potatoes.
6. Allow the salad to chill in the refrigerator for about an hour before serving.
7. Garnish with fresh dill before serving.
