A delicious and traditional Christmas dish that brings warmth to winter celebrations. This easy recipe takes about 2 hours to prepare and serves 6-8 people.

Ingredients:

- 1 kg starchy potatoes
- 2 dl milk
- 2 dl cream
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 50 g butter

Instructions:

1. Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until fully cooked.
2. Drain the cooked potatoes and mash them well in a bowl.
3. Add milk, cream, sugar, eggs, salt, and nutmeg to the potato mash. Mix until smooth.
4. Pour the potato mixture into a greased baking dish and level the top.
5. Dot the top with small pieces of butter.
6. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 1 hour, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
