Delicious colorful pastries perfect for any occasion, especially Easter celebrations. Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 20-25 pieces
Ingredients:
- 100 g almond flour- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- 50 g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract or food coloring (optional)
- Filling (such as chocolate mousse, raspberry jam, or buttercream)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (130°C for convection).2. In a bowl, combine almond flour and powdered sugar. Sift the mixture to ensure it is fine.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until foamy. Gradually add granulated sugar while continuing to whisk until the mixture is glossy and forms stiff peaks.
4. Gently fold the almond flour and powdered sugar mixture into the whipped egg whites. Mix lightly until well combined and slightly glossy.
5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Allow the macarons to dry for about 30 minutes until a skin forms on the surface.
7. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Let cool before filling.
8. Fill the macarons with your chosen filling and sandwich them together.
