Delicious vegan veggie balls inspired by IKEA's famous classics.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 400 g cooked black beans
- 1 dl rolled oats
- 1 dl grated carrots
- 1 dl chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Rinse the black beans and mash them in a bowl with a fork.
2. Add rolled oats, grated carrots, red onion, garlic, soy sauce, oregano, and smoked paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Mix all ingredients well until you achieve a uniform mixture.
4. Shape the mixture into about 12-15 balls.
5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the balls for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
6. Serve warm with a dipping sauce and a salad.
