Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
5. Stir in the cooked spaghetti and toss to combine with the garlic butter sauce.
6. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and chopped parsley. Toss again to mix well.
7. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
