A delightful gingerbread tart filled with creamy blue cheese, perfect for festive occasions. Preparation time: 30 minutes
Serving size: 12 servings
Ingredients for the Base:
- 100 g butter
- ½ dl milk
- 4 dl brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp cloves
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 5 dl all-purpose flour
Ingredients for the Filling:
- 200 g blue cheese
- 1 dl cream
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter and mix it with the milk. Allow it to cool.
2. Add the brown sugar, egg, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and baking powder to the butter mixture. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the dough and mix until smooth.
4. Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm thick and cut into desired shapes for the gingerbread.
5. Bake the gingerbread at 175°C (347°F) for about 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
6. Prepare the filling by mixing the blue cheese, cream, honey, and lemon juice in a bowl.
7. Allow the gingerbread to cool, then fill them with the blue cheese mixture.
8. Serve and enjoy!
