A delicious buttery sheet bun, perfect for coffee breaks. Enjoy it plain or topped with jam or berries.
Preparation Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 8-10 servings

Ingredients:

- 500 g all-purpose flour
- 25 g fresh yeast or 1 packet of dry yeast
- 100 g sugar
- 2 dl milk
- 100 g butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg (for glazing)

Instructions:

1. Warm the milk until it's lukewarm and dissolve the yeast in it.
2. Add sugar, salt, and melted butter. Mix well.
3. Gradually add the flour to the mixture until the dough is smooth and elastic.
4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.
5. Roll out the dough into a thick sheet and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
6. Brush the surface of the dough with melted butter.
7. Allow the sheet to rise for another 15 minutes.
8. Brush the sheet with beaten egg and bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Let it cool and enjoy!
