A simple and delicious pea soup featuring chicken strips instead of ham. Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 400 g frozen peas - 300 g chicken strips
- 1 large onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 liter chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic. 2. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat and add the onion and garlic. Sauté until soft.
3. Add the chicken strips to the pot and cook until they are done.
4. Add the frozen peas and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat.
5. Season with salt, black pepper, and thyme. Let the soup simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
6. Blend the soup until smooth if desired and serve with fresh parsley on top.
