Ingredients

- 1 bag frozen tomato salsa
- 400 g ground beef
- 1 Knorr "du chef" beef stock cube
- 1 tsp black pepper, crushed
- 250 ml cooking cream (e.g., 7%)
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 150 g grated Emmental cheese
- 1 tbsp Herbes de Provence or Italian seasoning
- 1 can herbed crushed tomatoes
- 1-2 onions, finely chopped (about 150 g)

Instructions

1. Sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic in olive oil until soft.
2. Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until browned. Season with the beef stock cube and black pepper.
3. Stir in the tomato salsa and herbed crushed tomatoes. Mix well and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
4. Add the cooking cream and Herbes de Provence. Stir and heat for a few more minutes.
5. Prepare the lasagna layers in a baking dish. Start with a layer of meat sauce, then a layer of lasagna sheets, and repeat until all ingredients are used. Finish with a layer of meat sauce and sprinkle grated Emmental cheese on top.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.
7. Let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before serving.
