A delicious and fluffy Christmas dessert made quickly from cream and gingerbread mixtures, perfect for surprise guests or holiday indulgence. Preparation Time: 20 minutes + 1 hour chilling in the fridge
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 250 g mascarpone cheese
- 100 g gingerbread cookies (or pound cake slices)
- 2-3 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
- Cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
1. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
2. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla sugar until the mixture is smooth.
3. Crumble the gingerbread cookies (or pound cake slices) into small pieces.
4. Start layering the mousse in beautiful glasses: first a layer of the mousse mixture, then a layer of the crumbled gingerbread, and repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
5. Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for about one hour before serving.
6. Optionally, sprinkle with cinnamon or garnish with pieces of gingerbread before serving.
