This delicious and creamy mayonnaise is a perfect addition to many dishes. You can use it in salads, sandwiches, or as a dip! Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Serving Size: About 100 ml
Ingredients:
- 1 egg yolk - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar or lemon juice
- 100 ml canola oil or olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Cracked black pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Place the egg yolk, Dijon mustard, and vinegar or lemon juice in a bowl. 2. Whisk the ingredients together using an electric mixer or a whisk.
3. Slowly add the oil in a thin stream while continuing to whisk until the mayonnaise begins to emulsify and thicken.
4. Keep whisking until the mayonnaise reaches your desired consistency.
5. Season with salt and cracked black pepper to taste.
6. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container.
