A rich and creamy chocolate mousse that's perfect for dessert.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 3 eggs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 dl heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath or microwave and let it cool slightly.
2. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until pale and fluffy.
3. Add the cooled chocolate to the egg yolk mixture and mix well.
4. Whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the chocolate mixture.
5. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with the vanilla sugar, then fold it into the chocolate mixture.
6. Pour the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
7. Serve with berries or whipped cream, if desired.
