A simple and delicious pasta dish that comes together quickly, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (such as spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain, reserving a bit of the cooking water.
2. Slice the mushrooms and mince the garlic.
3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
4. Add the mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are tender and golden brown.
5. Pour the cream over the mushrooms and stir well. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
6. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and mix. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to keep the mixture from being too dry.
7. Grate the Parmesan cheese over the pasta and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
8. Serve with fresh parsley on top.
