A delicious creamy mushroom pasta that's quick and easy to make, perfect for a weekday dinner or a weekend treat. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or penne)
- 200 g fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain, reserving a little cooking water.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
3. Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they are soft and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour the cream into the mushroom mixture and stir well. Let it simmer for about 3-5 minutes.
5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and combine all ingredients together. If the mixture is too dry, add a little reserved cooking water.
6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
7. Serve the pasta garnished with fresh parsley.
