This easy and refreshing lemonade is the perfect drink for hot summer days. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 4-6 fresh lemons - 1 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice
- Lemon slices (for garnish, optional)
- Fresh mint (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
1. Squeeze the juice from the lemons and strain it to remove any seeds. 2. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of water and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar completely dissolves.
3. Combine the sugar syrup with the lemon juice and mix well.
4. Add the remaining 3 cups of water and stir to combine.
5. Serve the lemonade over ice and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint, if desired.
