This delicious limeade is the perfect beverage for hot summer days. Its refreshing taste and tanginess make it a great option to quench your thirst. Preparation Time: 15 minutes + chilling
Serving Size: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups water - ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh lime or lemon juice
- 2 ½ cups sparkling water
- Lime or lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil until the sugar fully dissolves.2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
3. Transfer the cooled syrup to the refrigerator and chill for about an hour.
4. Once chilled, mix the fresh lime or lemon juice into the syrup and stir well.
5. Pour the mixture into a serving pitcher and add sparkling water just before serving.
6. Garnish with lime or lemon slices and enjoy!
