Ingredients:

- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and reserve a bit of the cooking water.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes until golden brown.
3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are soft and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
4. Pour the cream into the pan and mix well. Let it simmer on low heat for a few minutes.
5. Combine the cooked pasta with the mushroom sauce. If needed, add a little reserved cooking water to achieve a pleasant consistency.
6. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
7. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
