A delicious and crispy snack made from halloumi, perfect for dipping! Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g halloumi - 2 dl all-purpose flour
- 2 dl breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
1. Cut the halloumi into approximately 1 cm thick slices. 2. Prepare three separate bowls: place the flour in one, beat the eggs in the second, and pour the breadcrumbs into the third.
3. Season the flour with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
4. Dip the halloumi slices first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat them with breadcrumbs. Ensure each slice is well-coated.
5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
6. Fry the halloumi slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.
7. Remove the fried halloumi fries and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
8. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
