Ingredients:

- 400 g Härkis (fava bean product)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 300 g pasta (e.g. spaghetti or penne)
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it softens.
3. Add the crushed garlic and diced bell pepper to the pan. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
4. Stir in the Härkis and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until heated through.
5. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and add oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5-7 minutes.
6. Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce and warm it for a moment.
7. Serve the dishes warm and garnish with fresh basil if desired.
