Ingredients:
- 4 beef steaks (such as tenderloin)
- 2 tablespoons black pepper (crushed)
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme (chopped)
- 100 ml cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions:
1. Take the steaks out to room temperature about 30 minutes before cooking.
2. Rub the steaks with salt, crushed black pepper, minced garlic, and thyme.
3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Cook the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until they reach your desired doneness.
5. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest under foil for about 5 minutes.
6. Prepare the sauce: add cream and Dijon mustard to the pan, mix well, and heat over low heat.
7. Serve the steaks with the sauce on top.
