A delicious grilled cheese sandwich that combines two favorite cheeses and toppings, making it the perfect comfort food. Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Serving Size: 2 sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread (e.g., white or whole grain)
- 100 g flavored Apetina cheese
- 100 g cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup fresh herbs (e.g., basil or parsley)
- 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
2. Place the buttered side down in a skillet.
3. Add a layer of Apetina cheese and cheddar cheese on top.
4. If desired, add sliced tomatoes and fresh herbs.
5. Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up.
6. Cook the sandwiches over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
7. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
