A simple and delicious pasta dish that’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 250 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until golden.
4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, sugar, salt, black pepper, and oregano. Mix well and let it simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and add it to the sauce. Mix thoroughly to coat the pasta with the sauce.
6. Add the chopped basil and stir again.
7. Serve warm with grated Parmesan cheese on top, if desired.
