Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

A delicious and quick pasta dish tossed with succulent shrimp in a rich garlic butter sauce. Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti or linguine - 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti or linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
4. Toss in the cooked pasta, reserved pasta water, lemon juice, and parsley. Mix until well combined and heated through.
5. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
