Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti - 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turn pink.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, allowing it to cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Toss in the cooked spaghetti and mix well to coat the pasta in the garlic butter sauce.
7. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley.
8. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
