Ingredients:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
3. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
5. Stir in the cooked spaghetti, lemon juice, and parsley. Toss to combine everything evenly.
6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
