Quick Chicken Pasta

A rich and flavorful chicken pasta dish that comes together quickly, perfect for a weeknight meal. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g. fusilli or penne)
- 400 g chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bell pepper
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 ml cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Cut the chicken breasts into strips. Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the chicken. Cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
3. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. If needed, add a bit more oil to the pan and sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
4. Dice the bell pepper and add it to the pan. Sauté for a few minutes.
5. Add the cherry tomatoes and cook until they begin to soften.
6. Pour the cream into the pan and stir well. Add the cooked chicken back in and heat until warm.
7. Mix the pasta into the sauce and season with salt and pepper.
8. Serve the dishes garnished with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
