Ingredients:

- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/2 cup fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or basil), chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 egg (or vegan alternative)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying

Instructions:

1. Mash the chickpeas in a bowl with a fork or blender until fairly smooth.
2. Add the rolled oats, onion, garlic, carrot, herbs, salt, black pepper, paprika, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
3. Shape the mixture into four patties.
