Flatbread is a delicious and easy-to-grill bread that pairs perfectly with various fillings. This recipe combines smoky flatbread with spicy Sriracha shrimp, making it an ideal finger food.
Ingredients
Flatbread: - 2 dl plain yogurt
- 2 dl water
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 packet dry yeast
- Approximately 10 dl all-purpose flour
Sriracha Shrimp:
- 200 g shrimp
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 3 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- Approximately 1 tsp salt
- Black pepper to taste
- Sugar to taste
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour and dry yeast. 2. Heat the yogurt and water to about 42 degrees Celsius, add honey, and mix well.
3. Gradually pour the yogurt-water mixture into the flour mixture and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is firm and pulls away from the bowl.
4. Cover the dough with a kitchen towel and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
5. After rising, knead the dough into a log and divide it into approximately 10 pieces.
6. Flatten each piece into a disc and remove any air bubbles.
7. Preheat the grill to 200 degrees Celsius and grill the flatbreads on both sides until grill marks appear and they become firm.
8. Wrap the finished flatbreads in a kitchen towel to keep warm.
Sriracha Shrimp:
1. Thaw the shrimp and mix them with sour cream, Sriracha, and spices.
2. Let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator for a while.
3. Spread the shrimp-Sriracha mixture over the warm flatbreads and garnish with salad.
