Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g flank steak- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce and tomato for serving
Herb Oil:
- 100 ml fresh herbs (e.g., basil, parsley)- 50 ml olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the marinade by mixing olive oil, soy sauce, honey, crushed garlic, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.2. Place the flank steak in a plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
3. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Remove the meat from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature.
4. Grill the flank steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side until it reaches medium-rare doneness. Let the meat rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
5. Make the herb oil by blending the herbs, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a blender.
6. Slice the flank steak and assemble the burgers: place the meat, lettuce, and tomato in the buns. Drizzle with herb oil.
7. Serve warm and enjoy!
