Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar - 3 eggs
- 1 can (397 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (400 ml) evaporated milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).2. In a saucepan, melt the sugar over medium heat until it turns golden brown. Quickly pour the melted sugar into a baking dish, tilting it to coat the sides evenly.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
4. Pour the egg mixture over the caramelized sugar in the baking dish.
5. Place the baking dish in a larger baking pan and fill the larger pan with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the flan dish.
6. Bake in the oven for about 60 minutes or until the flan is set.
7. Let it cool at room temperature, then transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least four hours or overnight.
8. To serve, invert the flan onto a serving plate and enjoy.
