A delicious rhubarb oat crumble that perfectly combines sweet and tart flavors, making it an ideal dessert. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 6-8 servings
Ingredients:
- 600 g rhubarb - 1 dl water
- 120 g butter
- 1.5 dl granulated sugar
- 2 dl rolled oats
- 2 dl oat-wheat bran mixture
- 2 tbsp chopped hazelnuts
- 2 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1.5 tsp cinnamon
- Margarine for greasing the dish
- Cinnamon for topping
Instructions:
1. Chop the rhubarb and arrange it evenly in a greased baking dish. Pour water over it. 2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and mix in the rolled oats, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and chopped hazelnuts. Stir well.
3. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the rhubarb and dust a little cinnamon on top.
4. Bake in the oven at 200°C (392°F) on the middle rack for about 30 minutes.
5. Serve warm, for example with vanilla ice cream.
