A delightful Finnish salmon soup served with Karelian pasties and a touch of fresh dill. Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 500 g salmon
- 1 l fish stock
- 2 potatoes
- 1 carrot
- 1 onion
- 2 dl cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh dill for garnish
- 4 Karelian pasties
- Butter for serving
- 1 l unfiltered wine
Instructions:
1. Start by boiling the fish stock. Add peeled and diced potatoes, carrot, and onion. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
2. Add the salmon pieces to the fish stock and let it cook for about 10 minutes.
3. Pour in the cream and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Serve the fish soup in beautiful bowls and garnish with fresh dill.
5. Heat the Karelian pasties in the oven and serve with butter alongside the soup.
6. Offer unfiltered wine on the side and enjoy the flavors of Finland!
