Ingredients:

- 400 g fettuccine pasta
- 100 g butter
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 100 g Parmesan cheese (grated)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Cook the fettuccine pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain pasta, reserving some cooking water.
2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream and mix well.
3. Once the cream is heated, add the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
4. Add the drained pasta to the sauce and mix well. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved cooking water.
5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
