A quick and easy pasta dish perfect for any occasion. Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 50 g grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta in salted water according to package instructions.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté for about a minute until golden brown.
3. Add the crushed tomatoes to the pan and season with salt, black pepper, and dried basil. Let the sauce simmer over low heat for about 5-7 minutes.
4. Drain the cooked pasta and mix it into the sauce. Let it cook together for a few more minutes.
5. Serve the pasta topped with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
