Ingredients:
- 250 g cauliflower
- 100 g fresh spinach (or 1 red bell pepper)
- 1 liter cooked spiral pasta
- 1 can (330 ml) cooking cream
- 250 g cheddar cheese dip (e.g., Koskenlaskija Ruoka & Dippi)
- 1 tsp ground or grated nutmeg
- 0.5 tsp salt
- (optional: 0.5 dl breadcrumbs + 5 tbsp butter, for topping)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions and preheat the oven to 225°C (437°F).
2. Rinse the cauliflower, cut it in half, and chop the florets and stem into small pieces.
3. Rinse the spinach and chop the leaves or dice the bell pepper into small pieces.
4. In a greased baking dish, combine the cauliflower, spinach or bell pepper, and cooked pasta.
5. In a saucepan, heat the cooking cream, cheddar cheese dip, nutmeg, and salt while stirring.
6. Pour the sauce over the vegetables and pasta in the dish and mix well.
7. (If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and add small pieces of butter.)
8. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until the top is beautifully golden brown.
