A delicious cake that takes you on a flavor journey to Turku. Perfect for coffee breaks and suitable for both everyday and festive occasions.

Serving size: 10-12 pieces

Ingredients:

- 200 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 dl milk
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 1 dl nuts (e.g., walnuts)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- A pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
2. Melt the butter in a saucepan and allow it to cool slightly.
3. In a bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until fluffy.
4. Add the melted butter to the mixture and mix well.
5. Combine the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with the milk.
6. Melt the dark chocolate and stir it into the batter. Fold in the nuts.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes, until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
8. Allow the cake to cool before serving. You can decorate the cake with powdered sugar or chocolate icing if desired.
