A light and refreshing beer perfect for sharing with friends.
Preparation Time: 3 weeks (including fermentation and conditioning)
Serving Size: Makes approximately 10 bottles
Ingredients:
- 1 kg malt
- 30 g hops
- 10 g yeast
- 5 l water
- 1 dl sugar
Instructions:
1. Heat the water in a pot to 70°C (158°F).
2. Add the malt to the water and stir thoroughly. Allow the mixture to steep for about 60 minutes.
3. Strain the liquid and transfer it to another container.
4. Bring the liquid to a boil and add the hops. Boil for about 30 minutes.
5. Cool the mixture to room temperature and add the yeast.
6. Pour the mixture into a clean fermentation vessel and seal it with a lid.
7. Let it ferment for about 1-2 weeks, until fermentation has stopped.
8. Bottle the beer and add sugar for carbonation.
9. Let the beer mature in the bottles for at least 2 weeks before enjoying.
