Ingredients:
- 300 g pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne)
- 250 g ground meat (beef or pork)
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 carrot
- 1 can (400 g) crushed tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Parmesan cheese (for serving)
Instructions:
1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
2. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic, and carrot.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 3-4 minutes.
4. Add the ground meat to the skillet and brown it until fully cooked.
5. Add the carrot, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.
6. Mix the cooked pasta into the sauce and heat for a moment.
7. Serve warm topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
