- 2-3 dl water
- 1 small carrot
- 2 dl red wine
- 2 dl crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- Dried oregano
- Dried basil
- Drizzle of olive oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- Small piece of celery root
- 500 g minced beef
- Butter for frying
- Black pepper
- Salt
Instructions:
1. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery root.
2. Heat a drizzle of olive oil and a piece of butter in a pan. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté for a few minutes.
3. Add the minced beef to the pan and brown it thoroughly.
4. Sprinkle the flour over the meat and mix well.
5. Pour in the red wine and let it simmer for one minute.
6. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, sugar, and spices (oregano, basil, black pepper, and salt) and mix.
7. Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens.
8. Serve the sauce over cooked pasta.
