Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 200 ml milk
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- (Optional) 1 teaspoon mustard or 1 tablespoon soy sauce to taste
Instructions:
1. Melt the butter in a medium-sized saucepan over low heat.
2. Add the flour to the melted butter and mix well, cooking for a few minutes until the mixture is golden brown.
3. Gradually pour in the milk while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
4. Keep stirring until the sauce thickens and reaches your desired consistency.
5. Season with salt and black pepper. Add mustard or soy sauce if desired.
